# Core Contributors
Fabian is a Software Engineer working at D2iQ with a diverse background in Cloud Infrastructure, ML Platforms, Distributed Systems, and Entrepreneurship. He is one of the original developers of KUDO who not only wrote major parts of it, but also set up the governance structure and on-boarded the current KUDO engineering team. Ken Sipe is a Distributed Application Engineer at D2iQ working on the Orchestration team. In addition to being a committer on the KUDO project, Ken is an author and award winning international speaker on the practices of software architecture and engineering and has been honored with the JavaOne Rockstar Award. Ken is also a contributor to Apache Mesos and a committer on a number of OSS projects including Marathon and Metronome. When not coding or talking about code, Ken is an IFR private pilot, a SCUBA dive master and has recently taken up the art of glass blowing. He is based in St. Charles, MO, USA. Tom is a Kubernetes consultant providing expertise to application operation teams deploying and running applications in production and expertise to infrastructure teams configuring Kubernetes and building custom extensions to Kubernetes to meet business requirements. Chris Gaun is a CNCF ambassador and product manager for various Kubernetes products at D2iQ. He has presented at Kubecon several times and has hosted over 40 Kubernetes workshops across US and EU. Jörg Schad is Head Of Engineering and Machine Learning at ArangoDB. In a previous life, he has worked on or built machine learning pipelines in healthcare, distributed systems at Mesosphere, and in-memory databases. He received his Ph.D. for research around distributed databases and data analytics. He’s a frequent speaker at meetups, international conferences, and lecture halls. Nick is based in Edinburgh in the UK and currently works for Rancher as a consulting engineer.
